With a distinguished career spanning several decades, Prof. Hari Hara Dash is a pioneer in
the field of neuroanesthesia and neurocritical care. He served as the Professor and Head of
Neuroanesthesiology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) from 1993 to
2012, and was the Chief of the Neurosciences Center at AIIMS from 2006 to 2012. Prof.
Dash was the first in India to establish the superspecialty DM course in Neuroanesthesia at
AIIMS, advancing academic excellence in this field.
